A starter set built around the Ben Johns Blue Lightning design: two fiberglass paddles with a polymer honeycomb core, two 26-hole indoor balls, two 40-hole outdoor balls and a carry bag with a mesh pocket. The paddles are light at around 8.1 oz and forgiving for new players. Everything two people need to play indoors or outside.

A 16 mm core gives more control and a softer feel; 14 mm gives more pop and power. Newer players are usually happier with 16 mm.
