Babolat Lebron Padel Rackets

Quick Answer

Babolat Lebron padel rackets are the Juan Lebrón signature frames, all diamond-shaped with a high balance. The Technical Viper Juan Lebron is the stiff competition version, the Viper Soft Lebron is the comfort version, and the Technical Veron Lebron is the amateur version. Prices run from $179 to $329, with Gift Box and With Bag options.

  • Best for: Attacking players who like Lebrón's style, and anyone buying a padel gift for one.
  • Weight / Balance / Shape: 355 to 375 g on most editions, 360 to 380 g on the Technical Viper Juan Lebron 3.0; high balance; diamond.
  • Price at Padelnox: $179 (Technical Veron Lebron 2024) to $329 (3.0 2026 Gift Box Edition).

Key Takeaways

  • One shape, three feels: every Lebrón frame is a high-balance diamond; the core and face decide whether it feels hard, soft or amateur-friendly.
  • Gift Box and With Bag share specs: for each year, the spec sheets are identical, so the price difference is the package.
  • The Blue 3.0 is a colorway: the Technical Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 Blue 2026 has the same published specs as the standard 3.0.
  • Most club players should start soft: the Viper Soft Lebron or the Technical Veron Lebron suit more of my students than the Technical 3.0.
  • Every edition qualifies for the free kit: all Babolat Lebron frames are over $150, so each includes an overgrip 3-pack and frame protector.

Babolat Lebron Padel Rackets by Edition

I am Tomás Reyes, a padel coach, and Lebrón frames are the signature rackets my students ask about most after the NOX AT10. Babolat publishes Juan Lebrón as the face of its Viper Lebron line, and the name also appears on an amateur Veron. My Juan Lebrón racket guide is the long-form test; this collection page is the shopping map.

Technical Viper Juan Lebron: the competition frames

These are the stiffest Babolat Lebron padel rackets. The 3.0 2026 is listed at 360 to 380 g with a hard EVA core and 3K face, in standard or Blue colorways, each available with a Gift Box. The 2025 edition is listed at 355 to 375 g with a medium Black EVA core. The Technical Viper Lebron 2023 is listed at 365 g with a 12K face and a hard Black EVA core. The wider Technical Viper family is covered in my Babolat Technical Viper review.

Viper Lebron 2024 and Viper Soft Lebron 3.0 2026

The Viper Lebron 2024 is listed at 355 to 375 g with a 12K face and medium Black EVA core, for competition. The Viper Soft Lebron 3.0 2026 ($279) uses a soft carbon face with a medium Black EVA core and is listed for improver to competition level, which makes it the most accessible Viper Lebron.

Technical Veron Lebron: the amateur frames

The Technical Veron Lebron 2024 ($179) and the 2025 edition keep the diamond and high balance but use a carbon and fiberglass face with a medium EVA core, listed for amateur level. My Babolat Veron review explains the family they belong to.

What I Have Seen on Court

Over the last two seasons I have watched about a dozen students buy a Babolat Lebron frame. Some thrived, some came back to me with a sore arm, and the pattern is worth sharing.

The players who thrived

Two of my tournament players moved to the Technical Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 and their smash counts in match play went up. Both have compact, early swings and strong shoulders. On court, the frame rewarded them with the heaviest overheads in the group. One of them also bought the Technical Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 Blue 2026 ($279) as a spare, and he says he cannot tell the two apart except by color.

The players who switched down

Three intermediate players bought the Technical 3.0 because of the name and struggled. Late volleys sprayed and one developed elbow pain within a month. All three moved to the Viper Soft Lebron or a Technical Veron Lebron and settled. The soft face gave them time on the ball, and the diamond shape still let them enjoy the smash.

The quiet success

The frame that surprised me most in my students' hands was the Technical Veron Lebron 2024. At $179 it gave three different 3.0 to 3.5 players a diamond they could actually control. None of them were competition players, and none needed to be.

My own sessions

I played at least four sessions with each family. The hard-core Technical frames gave me the most power and the most feedback in the arm. The Soft 3.0 took the edge off both. The Veron Lebron felt the most forgiving on late contact off the back glass, at the cost of a little top-end smash speed.

Buying a Lebrón Frame as a Gift

Babolat Lebron padel rackets are among the most popular padel gifts I am asked about, so here is a simple method.

  1. Find out the player's level. Tournament player: Technical Viper Juan Lebron. Regular club player: Viper Soft Lebron. Newer or casual player: Technical Veron Lebron.
  2. Ask about their arm. Any elbow or shoulder history rules out the hard-core Technical frames.
  3. Choose Gift Box or With Bag. The racket is the same. The Gift Box is the presentation choice; the With Bag version is practical if they do not already own a bag. If they need one anyway, my padel bags guide helps.
  4. Pick a year for your budget. The Technical Viper Lebron 2023 Gift Box Edition ($239) and the Viper Lebron 2024 Gift Box Edition ($239) are the most affordable boxed editions.
  5. Keep the packaging. Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days, which matters if the size or feel is wrong.
  6. Add accessories. Grips, balls and a cover are welcome extras, and three or more accessory items save 15% automatically.

If your player is more of a control or all-court type, consider Agustín Tapia's frame instead. My Agustín Tapia racket guide covers the NOX AT10 as a gift alternative.

For how these fit the whole brand, see my Babolat padel guide.

A common search mix-up: the Babolat Pure Drive is a tennis racket, not a Lebrón padel frame. If that is what you want, it sits in our tennis rackets collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Babolat Lebron Gift Box and With Bag?

For the racket itself, nothing: for each year, the Gift Box Edition and the With Bag version have identical published spec sheets. The Gift Box is the presentation package and costs a little more, while the With Bag version includes a bag, which is the practical choice if the player does not already own one. Pick based on whether you are giving it as a gift or using it yourself.

How heavy are Babolat Lebron padel rackets?

Most editions are listed at 355 to 375 g, including the Viper Lebron 2024, the Technical Viper Juan Lebron 2025, the Viper Soft Lebron 3.0 and the Technical Veron Lebron frames. The Technical Viper Lebron 2023 is listed at 365 g, and the Technical Viper Juan Lebron 3.0 2026, standard or Blue, is the heaviest at 360 to 380 g. All have a high balance.

Babolat Lebron 2025 vs 2026: which is better?

The Technical Viper Juan Lebron 2025 has a medium Black EVA core and is listed at 355 to 375 g. The 3.0 2026 has a hard EVA core and is listed at 360 to 380 g, so it hits harder and asks more of your arm. For most competition players, the 2026 gives more power. For anyone who values comfort, the 2025 or the Viper Soft Lebron 3.0 is the better choice.
