HEAD Padel Gear

Quick Answer
HEAD padel rackets are not part of this collection. What you will find here are the three HEAD products we stock: a tacky overgrip 3-pack, a carbon beach tennis racket and the Radical MP tennis racket. If you want a padel racket, the frames below from NOX, Bullpadel, Babolat and TUYO are the ones I recommend.
- In this collection: HEAD Overgrip 3-Pack ($16.99), HEAD Beach Tennis Racket ($99), HEAD Radical MP ($199)
- Works on padel rackets: the overgrip, on any brand of handle
- Padel racket picks: from $119 to $339, free tracked shipping over $99
Key Takeaways
- Three HEAD products, zero HEAD padel frames. We keep this page honest so you do not scroll for something we do not sell.
- The HEAD overgrip is the padel-relevant item. It fits NOX, Bullpadel, Babolat and every other padel handle.
- The beach tennis racket is not a padel racket. It is built for sand and no-bounce rallies.
- The Radical MP is a strung tennis racket with a 100 sq in head and a 300 g weight.
- For a HEAD padel racket feel, match the shape: round for control, teardrop for all-round, diamond for power.

What is in the HEAD padel collection
People search "head padel" for rackets, but the HEAD items we carry serve three different jobs. Here is what each one is for, in the words I would use if you asked me at the club.
For your padel racket: the HEAD Overgrip 3-Pack ($16.99). Thin, tacky and absorbent. On a padel handle it adds grip and a little thickness. My padel overgrip guide covers how many to use.
For the beach: the HEAD Beach Tennis Racket ($99), a carbon frame with a textured face for spin. The rest of our sand range is in the beach tennis rackets collection, and the differences from padel are explained in my beach tennis rackets guide.
For tennis: the HEAD Radical MP ($199), an all-court tennis racket at 300 g with a 16x19 pattern. It sits with our other tennis rackets.
Coach's notes: how I use HEAD gear in a padel week
My coaching bag always holds overgrips, and HEAD's are among the ones I rotate through. In a hot week with three sessions a day, I rewrap my own frame roughly every other day. The HEAD wrap stays tacky through a sweaty 90 minutes and does not bunch at the butt cap.
The beach tennis racket comes out when a few of my students head to the coast. The swing is shorter and flatter than padel, and a light carbon frame like this one is quick at the net. Those students tell me their padel volleys get sharper afterward.
What I do not do is let anyone take a tennis racket onto a padel court. The glass and the solid ball will crack the frame. If you came here for a HEAD padel racket, my full HEAD padel review and the HEAD Speed padel review explain the brand's lines and match each one to a frame we stock.
HEAD padel alternatives by level
These are the stocked padel rackets I suggest to players who were searching for a HEAD. Specs are from the manufacturer sheets; a dash means the maker does not publish that figure.
| Your level | Recommended frame | Shape | Weight | Balance | Core | Price at Padelnox |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beginner | NOX ML10 Pro Cup 3K 2024 | Round | 360 - 375 g | Low | HR3, medium | $239 |
| Beginner on a budget | TUYO Cosmic Silver | Teardrop | 350 - 370 g | - | EVA Medium | $119 |
| Improver | Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 | Hybrid | 365 - 375 g | Medium | MultiEVA, medium | $339 |
| Advanced attacker | Babolat Technical Viper 2.5 2025 | Diamond | 355 - 375 g | High | X-EVA multilayered densities, medium | $249 |
| Beach tennis player | HEAD Beach Tennis Racket | - | - | - | - | $99 |
For beginners I start with the NOX ML10 Pro Cup 3K 2024 ($239), or the TUYO Cosmic Silver ($119) if budget matters. Improvers do well with the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 ($339). Attackers should try the Babolat Technical Viper 2.5 2025 ($249).
How to choose if you came for a HEAD padel racket
- Recall which HEAD family you liked. Speed feels quick, Delta and Extreme lean toward power, Flash is the light entry family.
- Translate it into a shape. My padel racket shapes guide shows how round, teardrop and diamond frames behave.
- Pick from the full range. Browse the padel rackets collection or my best padel racket 2026 shortlist.
- Add a HEAD overgrip. It fits any padel handle and costs less than a can of balls.
- Stock up if you play often. Three or more accessories get 15% off automatically, which also covers our padel accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Padelnox sell HEAD padel rackets?
No. We do not stock HEAD padel rackets. This HEAD collection holds three products: the HEAD Overgrip 3-Pack at $16.99, the HEAD Beach Tennis Racket at $99 and the HEAD Radical MP tennis racket at $199. For padel, I recommend matching the shape of the HEAD frame you like to a NOX, Bullpadel, Babolat or TUYO racket we carry.
Can I use a HEAD overgrip on a padel racket?
Yes. The HEAD Overgrip wraps any padel handle, whatever the racket brand. Use one layer on a standard handle, or two if your fingers overlap your thumb when you hold the grip. Replace it when it stops feeling tacky, which for most club players is every six to eight sessions, sooner in hot and humid weather.
Is the HEAD Beach Tennis Racket the same as a padel racket?
No. It looks similar, but beach tennis is played on sand and the ball is hit before it bounces, so the frame is built for quick, light exchanges rather than rebounds off glass walls. Do not use it for padel, and do not use a padel racket for beach tennis. Each is designed for its own ball, surface and swing.
