What Padelnox Is, and What It Is Not
Padelnox is a US-based online store for racket sports. The centre of it is padel, the doubles game played on a 20 by 10 metre glass-walled court that took over Spain long before it reached America. Around the padel wall sit three neighbours: pickleball, beach tennis and tennis.
I am the coach who writes the guides here. I spent fourteen years on court in Valencia and Madrid and have coached in the US since 2023, and my job for Padelnox is simple: play the frames, tell you honestly who each one suits, and keep the specs straight. You can read more about how I test on my coaching page.
Here is what the range covers today:
Padel. The largest part of the store: the full padel racket collection from NOX, Bullpadel, Babolat, PUMA, TUYO and Tecnifibre, from $69 learning frames to $339 current-season models.
Pickleball. Carbon-face paddles from Selkirk, JOOLA and CRBN in the pickleball paddles collection, for example the Selkirk LUXX Control Air Invikta 20mm in blue ($219), a control paddle with an X7 honeycomb core.
Beach tennis. Solid rackets from Shark, HEAD, IANONI and our own carbon models in the beach tennis rackets collection, such as the Shark Elite Pro Beach Tennis Racket ($139).
Tennis and bags. Babolat and HEAD frames in tennis rackets, plus backpacks and racket bags in bags.
Why four sports in one store? Because that is how people actually play in the US. Most of my padel students came from tennis or pickleball, and many still play both. A family often has one person on the padel court, one on the pickleball court and a teenager playing tennis. It made sense to put the gear for all of them behind one set of shipping and returns terms, instead of three different shops with three different rules.
What Padelnox is not: it is not the NOX brand, not a brand-owned shop and not a marketplace of third-party sellers. Everything ships from our own stock.
Padel NOX Searches: The NOX Rackets at Padelnox
A lot of people land on Padelnox after typing "padel nox 18k" or "padel nox 2026 Tapia". That makes sense. NOX is the Spanish brand behind Agustín Tapia's AT10, one of the most searched padel rackets in the world, and our name sounds close.
The AT10 family comes in two carbon weaves. 12K means 12,000 carbon filaments per strand, a slightly softer, more flexible face. 18K packs 18,000 filaments, which gives a stiffer, more direct response. "Alum" means an aluminised carbon face. My AT10 12K vs 18K comparison covers the difference in depth, and the NOX padel guide explains the rest of the brand, from the ML10 to the X-One.
The four AT10 versions people ask me about most:
- NOX AT10 Luxury Genius 12K 2025 by Agustín Tapia ($279), the 2025 teardrop with a flat 12K face.
- NOX AT10 Genius 18K Alum Agustín Tapia 2025 ($279), the stiffer 18K version of the same year.
- NOX AT10 Genius 12K Xtrem Alum Agustín Tapia 2026 ($329), the new 2026 12K frame with an HR3 Black EVA core.
- NOX AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum 2026 ($329), the 2026 18K with an MLD Black EVA core.
The whole family lives in the NOX AT10 collection.
What I Tested First From the Padelnox Range
When I started writing for Padelnox, I began with the AT10s, because that is what my students kept asking about.
Session one, the 12K 2025. Warm-up volleys with my usual partner and the same can of balls. The flat 12K face felt forgiving on low volleys, and the teardrop head let me defend from the back glass without feeling slow. The balance sat roughly where I expect a medium frame to sit in the hand, just above the throat.
Session three, the 18K 2025. Same drills. The difference was immediate on the bandeja: the 18K face sent the ball deeper with the same swing, and on flat smashes it felt more solid. Off-centre volleys punished me a little more.
Session five, the 2026 pair. Both 2026 frames are listed at the professional level, and they play like it. They reward a full, clean swing. After ninety minutes of víboras my forearm was fine, but I was aware of the stiffness in a way I was not with the 12K 2025.
Session six, a Babolat for contrast. I finished the block with a Technical Viper to reset my hand. The diamond head and high balance were obvious from the first overhead: more weight up top, more pop on the smash, less time to react on a fast exchange at the net. It made the AT10 teardrops feel quick by comparison.
My take. For most club players who want an AT10, the 12K is the wiser start. The 18K is for players who already hit through the ball. If you are torn between NOX and Babolat, my Babolat padel guide explains how the Viper differs.
Padelnox NOX 12K vs 18K vs Babolat: Compared
Here is the comparison people ask for when they search "padel nox vs babolat". Specs are as published by each manufacturer. Empty cells mean the spec is not published, not that I forgot it.
| Model | Shape | Weight | Balance | Core | Face | Player level | Price at Padelnox |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NOX AT10 Luxury Genius 12K 2025 by Agustin Tapia | Teardrop | 360 - 375 g | Medium | MLD Black EVA, medium-high hardness | Flat 12K Carbon | Advanced / Competition | $279 |
| NOX AT10 Genius 18K Alum Agustin Tapia 2025 | Teardrop | 360 - 375 g | Medium | Multilayer MLD Black EVA | Carbon Alum 18K | Advanced / Competition | $279 |
| NOX AT10 Genius 12K Xtrem Alum Agustin Tapia 2026 | Teardrop | 360 - 375 g | - | HR3 Black EVA | Carbon Fiber 12K Alum Xtrem | Professional | $329 |
| NOX AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum 2026 | Teardrop | 360 - 375 g | - | MLD Black EVA | Carbon Fiber 18K Alum | Professional | $329 |
| Babolat Technical Viper 3.0 2026 | Diamond | 360 - 375 g | High | X-EVA multilayered densities, hard | 3K carbon fiber | Competition | $279 |
The Babolat Technical Viper 3.0 2026 ($279) is the contrast: a diamond with a high balance and a hard core, built for attack. The AT10s are teardrops, more balanced between defence and attack.
How to Find Your Way Around Padelnox
The store has a lot of frames and a lot of guides, and new visitors sometimes get lost between them. This is the route I give my own students when they ask where to start. It works if you already know your model, and it works if you are still deciding on a sport.
- Start with your sport and level. New to padel? Read the beginner guides first, then look at frames under $150. There is no reason to start on a pro frame.
- Pick a shape, then a brand. Round for control, teardrop for all-round, diamond for power. Brand comes second.
- Use the brand guides. NOX, Bullpadel and Babolat each have a full guide explaining every family.
- Playing pickleball instead? My best pickleball paddle of 2026 guide ranks the Selkirk, JOOLA and CRBN paddles.
- Check the terms before you order. Shipping, returns and the free kit are all explained on one page.
- Want to know if we are the real thing? The is Padelnox legit page and the Padelnox reviews page list the checks you can make yourself.
If you get stuck at any step, email the question. Questions about a specific racket are worth asking early. I would much rather answer a question before you order than have you return a frame that was never right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Padelnox the same company as NOX?
No. Padelnox is a US-based online store for padel, pickleball, beach tennis and tennis gear. NOX is a Spanish padel brand, and its rackets, including the AT10 range, are among the frames we stock alongside Bullpadel, Babolat, PUMA, TUYO and Tecnifibre. The similar names cause some confusion, which is why this page exists. Every NOX racket we sell is genuine brand stock.
Does Padelnox ship outside the USA?
Yes. Padelnox ships worldwide. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days and delivery takes 7 to 14 business days from dispatch. Every order ships tracked. Shipping is free on orders over $99 and $9.95 flat below that. If you have a question about a specific destination, email helppadelnox@outlook.com before ordering and we will answer it.
What is the difference between NOX 12K and 18K?
The number is the carbon weave density: 12K has 12,000 filaments per strand and 18K has 18,000. In my testing, the 12K face feels a little softer and more forgiving on volleys, while the 18K face is stiffer and sends the ball deeper on smashes and bandejas. Most club players do better with the 12K. The 18K suits players who already swing cleanly.
