Padel Rackets

Quick Answer
Padel rackets at Padelnox run from $69 learning frames to $339 current-season pro models, from NOX, Bullpadel, Babolat, PUMA, TUYO and Tecnifibre. Choose by shape first: round for control, teardrop for all-round play, diamond for power. Then choose weight, usually 350 to 375 g, and match the frame to your level.
- Beginners: a round or teardrop frame with a soft core, $69 to $150.
- Improvers: a teardrop or hybrid with a better carbon face, $150 to $279.
- Advanced players: diamond or teardrop pro frames with 12K or 18K carbon, $279 to $339.
Key Takeaways
- Shape decides most of the feel: the balance point moves from near the hand on a round frame to high in the head on a diamond.
- Weight is personal: most adults play between 355 and 375 g; lighter frames are quicker and kinder on the arm.
- Carbon numbers mean stiffness: 3K, 12K and 18K describe the weave, and higher usually feels firmer.
- Every major Spanish brand is here: NOX, Bullpadel and Babolat cover every level, with PUMA, TUYO and Tecnifibre for value.
- Every racket over $150 ships with a free kit: an overgrip 3-pack and a frame protector.

Padel Rackets by Brand
I am Tomás Reyes, a FIP-certified coach, and I wrote this guide to help you move through the grid above without guessing. Here is what each brand in this collection does best.
NOX. The Spanish brand behind Agustín Tapia's AT10, one of the most popular padel racket families in the world. The range runs from the X-One learning frames through the round ML10 control line signed by Miguel Lamperti to the AT10 teardrops and diamonds. The NOX AT10 Luxury Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2026 ($329) is the lighter AT10, listed at 355 to 365 g, and it is the one I suggest to AT10 fans who find the standard version heavy. See all NOX padel rackets.
Bullpadel. Spanish, and famous for power. The Vertex is the diamond flagship, the Hack is the diamond power line with hybrid versions, the Neuron is the control line, and the XPLO sits between them. The Bullpadel Hack 04 Hybrid 2026 ($339) is a hybrid shape with a medium balance and an A-18K aluminized carbon face, a good way into the Hack without the full diamond. The Bullpadel Pearl 2026 ($339) is a 355 to 365 g diamond with a Fibrix face. See all Bullpadel rackets.
Babolat. French, and built around a simple naming logic. Viper frames are diamond power frames, Veron frames are teardrop all-rounders, and within each, Technical means stiffer, Air means lighter and Counter means round and control-first. Juan Lebrón's signature models sit in the Viper line. The Babolat Viper Soft Lebron 3.0 2026 ($279) is a softer take on the Lebron diamond, listed for improver to competition. See all Babolat padel rackets.
PUMA, TUYO and Tecnifibre. These are where I send students on a budget. PUMA's Nova range covers round, teardrop and diamond shapes between $119 and $139. TUYO makes light teardrops and a diamond, with frames from $79 to $119, such as the TUYO Gold Stealth Pro ($119), a diamond with an 18K carbon face. Tecnifibre's Wall Breaker comes in four weights, from 355 to 375, so you can choose weight exactly. The Tecnifibre Wall Breaker 365 ($169) is the one I see most in competitive club players' bags. For all PUMA padel rackets, see their collection.

Padel Racket Shapes, Weight and Carbon
Round. The sweet spot sits low and wide, near the throat, and the balance point is close to your hand. Round padel rackets are the easiest to control on volleys and defense. The NOX ML10 Ventus Control 3K Miguel Lamperti 2026 ($329) is the premium example, but round frames start far lower in price.
Teardrop. The balance moves up a little and the sweet spot sits in the middle. It is the all-round shape, which is why most club players end up here.
Diamond. The head is wide at the top and the balance is high. It hits hardest overhead and punishes late contact. Power players at the net love it.
Hybrid. Some brands use "hybrid" for shapes between teardrop and diamond or round. Treat it as all-round with a lean.
Weight. Most padel rackets sit between 350 and 375 g. A heavier frame gives more weight behind the ball but tires the arm sooner. A lighter frame is faster at the net.
Core. Under the face sits the core, usually EVA rubber or a softer foam. Soft EVA and foam cores feel comfortable and give easy depth at low swing speeds. Hard EVA cores feel dead at slow speed but give more control and power once you swing fast. Brands often print "soft", "medium" or "hard" on the spec sheet, which is the most useful single word on it.
Carbon. 3K, 12K and 18K describe the carbon weave. Higher numbers usually mean a stiffer face and more direct response. Fiberglass faces are softer and more forgiving. My padel racket shapes guide and 12K vs 18K carbon guide go deeper.
What a Season of Demo Days Taught Me
Every few weeks I run a demo session at the club: I lay twenty padel rackets on a bench and let students swap every fifteen minutes. My notes from last season say the same things again and again.
Beginners pick with their eyes and then change their minds. They reach for the flashiest diamond first. Ten minutes later, after a dozen volleys into the back glass, they swap to a round frame and their rallies double in length. The PUMA Nova Elite CTR was the most requested swap of the season.
Improvers are split between teardrop and hybrid. Players who defend a lot love the teardrops. Players who like to come forward and finish want a hybrid like the Hack 04 Hybrid, which has more head weight but still forgives a slightly late swing.
Advanced players care about the face. Once someone hits cleanly, the conversation turns to 12K versus 18K and how the ball comes off on a víbora. Stiffer faces send the ball deeper with the same swing, but the arm feels it after ninety minutes. Almost everyone chooses the frame that let them play a full session without soreness, not the one that hit the hardest single smash.
Pickleball converts need time. Players coming from pickleball have quick hands but are used to a paddle of around 8 oz. A 365 g padel racket feels heavy to them for the first few sessions. I steer them to the lighter end of the range and they adapt within a couple of weeks.
Weight surprises everyone. Two frames with the same shape but a 15 g difference feel like different rackets by the end of an evening. This is why Tecnifibre's four-weight Wall Breaker range is so useful for fitting.
Padel Rackets Compared by Level
Six padel rackets from the grid above, from first frame to competition, with specs as each manufacturer publishes them. Blank cells mean the brand does not publish that spec.

Read the table from top to bottom as a pathway. The TUYO Cosmic Pearl and PUMA Nova Elite CTR are frames you can learn on and keep for a long time. The Wall Breaker 365 adds a diamond with a fixed weight for players who want power at a club price. The Neuron 02 Edge and the ML10 Ventus Control are precision frames for players who build points. The Hack 04 Hybrid is for players ready to finish them.

How to Choose From Our Padel Rackets
- Set your level honestly. Fewer than twenty sessions means beginner, whatever your tennis level. The advice you will find in beginner threads on Reddit is usually right here: go round or teardrop, and go soft.
- Choose a shape. Round for control, teardrop for balance, diamond only if you already finish points overhead.
- Choose a weight. 350 to 365 g for most beginners and lighter players, 360 to 375 g for strong improvers and advanced players. The padel rackets for women collection groups the lighter versions.
- Set a budget. Start with the padel rackets under $150 if you are new. My best padel racket for beginners guide narrows it down.
- Check it is genuine. Worried about a fake NOX padel racket from elsewhere? Weigh it against the published range and check the finish. The is Padelnox legit page lists the checks.
- Set it up on day one. Add an overgrip for grip size and a protector for the glass. Both come free with any racket over $150.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which padel racket is best for beginners?
A round or teardrop racket between 350 and 365 g with a soft core and a forgiving face. Round frames have a low balance and a large sweet spot, which makes volleys and defense easier. In this collection, the TUYO, PUMA Nova Pro and NOX learning frames between $69 and $139 are the best places to start. Leave stiff diamond frames until you swing cleanly.
How much should I spend on a padel racket?
For a first racket, $69 to $150 is plenty. Improvers who play two or three times a week get real benefit from a better carbon face and a more consistent core between $150 and $279. Current pro models at $279 to $339 are built for advanced players. Spending more does not make a racket easier to play with; choosing the right shape does.
What is the difference between a padel racket and a padel racquet?
There is none. "Racket" and "racquet" are two spellings of the same word, and some people also say padel paddle or padel bat. All of them mean the solid, stringless, perforated frame used to play padel, usually weighing 350 to 375 g with a foam or EVA core. Every one of them in this collection is a padel racket.
